About Me

Hey, my name is DeAnna.

I have a family of five. My three children range from a three-ager to a teenager. A partner who pushes my creative limits all the time and is my number one fan. They are truly my love and motivation and are used to being in front of my camera. As a family we love to cook, be outdoors, go to festivals and spend our Sundays doing laundry and watching football like everyone else. We end end our days with our two rescued dogs cuddled up on the couch.

After spending hours on my cousins camera she got for Christmas, I found my love for visual arts and had to have one myself! Over the years I wanted a newer and bigger camera each year. As I aged into high school I got my first professional camera. I chose to go to our local art magnet High School and asked for photography classes. I spent most of my open house annoying our photograph teacher, just hoping I was one of the few who got into the class. I did! I fell in love with portrait photography through those years.

I worked in a studio for years and then decided to move forward and work for myself. I found that my personal interaction gave me a better perspective on my clients wants and needs. I also got the opportunity to have a better field of creative freedom which sparked my love for photography again. I spent a lot of my time doing weddings but enjoyed doing newborn photography when I was in a studio. Then I decided to start doing newborn photography again but in the client's home. It's been one of best things I've done and I love it. I am very personable and my friends would say extroverted. I love getting to know people and their stories, then capturing it with my photography.
